After finding the probably best spot for building a small nice house at the lake at wanaca about half way north on the west side of the lake, I now found another very different spot. This one us actually for sale. It costs about 350000 to 400000 nzd for 4ha. It is an area where they grow wine, but up here it might be too steep. A lake is not too far away, but it is quite small.
It is close to cromwell. It was also a site, where they shot various pictures of middleearth. So here is the location and some pictures with the view. Funny thing: even there is only a small not-so-much-for-normal-cars “road”, it already has an address

The question is, what to do here for a living? It is also not the most tourist spot, which is good, but most people earn money with tourism.
