Stop building new Nuclear Power Plants

By | 13. March 2011

Everyone knows by now about the catastrophe in Japan, which was caused by an earthquake and extended by a tsunami. In the chain of events, two of Japan’s nuclear power plants got in trouble. Yesterday, on the 12. March 2011, an explosion occurred at one of them and the government continues to say that there is no danger to the people (or nature). But actually, following the News, everyone knows, that they don’t know and only react instead of pro-active actions.

To be honest, there is not really much they can do.

For me, besides the sorrow I feel for all direct affected people, this has to be the start of the end of Nuclear Power (Plants).

So please, I beg you, do not continue planning new NPP as it is done in many countries around Europe, USA and others. It is not an option to our energy problem and no one knows where to store the nuclear wast safely.
