1. There is this guy from Switzerland who basically straps a model-sized delta wing to his body, which is powered by four model plane jet engines and flies around. They call him Jetman.
2. Already a few years back, I had a look at some videos about some people jumping from a cliff and flying high speed more or less close to the ground. They are wearing some kind of special suit, which has a little extra “wings” made by synthetic cloths spanning between the legs and arms and body. So, here are some links I collected:
