Pain with the rhabarber cake

Last Friday I baked a Rhabarber-Baiser-Kuchen. I like the taste of it but never baked it myself.
After it was finished and I took it out of the oven, it looked great! Ten minutes later the fluffy nice baiser hood collapsed.
Sadly, when tasting the first piece, I realized that the bottom (mürbeteig), was way too sweet and even not done on some places. I was so disappointed and started figuring out what went wrong. Rereading the recipe I realized that I used three times as much sugar for the base as I was supposed to. No wonder…
Maybe I will try it again. If someone has a good recipe with a filling that has some pudding kind with or without braiser, I would be happy to read it.
