Measuring of Temperature, Humidity and other Data

For a long time I used first digitemp and than its sucessor owfs with 1-wire adapters and sensors to measure and track temperatures at home and business environments. While I always liked it for its relyability and extremely cheap price, I never really extended it to mesure other data than temperature. Also, at home I never really liked setting up wires in all the different rooms.

After moving, I just did not establish my setup of sensors again and got finally really upset about it. I almost went for the easy way and bought a stand-alone humidity sensor. Luckily I researched and found some interesting wireless sensor setups for not too much money. This page is dedicated to describe what I am doing – for myself as a reminder and for you if you are interested.

This page is under constant change right now. Only after getting to a stable stage, I will start to create a changelog.
